Kris’s Painting

Start to finish, I was very happy with the service that Kris's Painting and Stucco Removal provided. Kris followed up with me the same day that I requested a quote and was there the next day to look at my project, provide me the quote and schedule the service. I have a four month old baby at home, so he suggested we leave town while the work was being done. We really appreciated how he worked around our schedule so that we could make these arrangements. When the work got started, my husband had to spend a few nights at the house (in the basement) and we couldn't believe the amount of prep work involved in protecting our home while the stucco was being removed! Kris uses a vacuum that removes most of the dust that is created, but there was definitely still some mess. We were away that weekend and were shocked upon our return to find that the house was so clean and all we had to do was move some of the furniture back. He said they took even extra care to ensure that the nursery stayed clean, which was so awesome. They even repainted a few of the walls where they had had to lean their ladders! We had asked him to paint the trim and doors white at the same time, and it all looked great! On our return, Kris came by again to ensure that all the work was to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Kris to anyone looking to have stucco removed as his crew made it a very easy and painless experience and it really updates the look of the house. Like I said, the trim and doors look great too!

My partner and I bought our first home and were super excited but wanted the popcorn ceiling removed before we moved in. We were super impressed with Kris and his team. They showed up exactly on time on the first day. Kris kept us up to date about the time line and even sent pictures when we couldn't stop by to check progress. When I needed my house to be painted my sister recommended Kris. He responded quickly and gave us a lot of options and information about what needed to be done and also what could be done. One of our concerns was cigarette smoke on the walls and Kris knew exactly how to address it. Kris took a lot of care and attention into the painting and plastering he did for us. The ceilings had lines from the drywall sticking through and it was also cracked in areas. After Kris worked on them, they now look brand new! He treats the house and always makes sure he works to his very high standards which are really beyond my own. His expertise really comes through in the work he does and it also comes through in his communication. All the way through the process Kris always checked in to update me. He gave me information about what he was doing, timelines and also concerns he had relate to painting and plastering and also giving us info about things for a heads up. Like the washroom fan that was full of smoke, he forwarded me before painting pictures when I needed them for another contractor, he was always looking out for my best interest. Kris is honest and open and passionate about his work. I definitely recommend Kris for any painting and plastering needs. High quality, consistently caring and clear communication. We just finished up a job with Kris and his team on our new house. Kris was professional, friendly, and extremely timely to getting all the work done. They came in and got our popcorn ceilings removed super fast and prior to moving in our furniture.Kris’ communication is excellent. Always available by phone or text. Kris was awesome! He was great about scheduling us in on a tight schedule and getting the job done before we moved in to our new home. We had no issues when discussing types of paint, he always gave us honest and helpful answers and treated us kindly and with respect. He also made himself available for touch-ups or any concerns that we had. Overall, a nice guy, a hard worker and honest businessman!

We found that Kris's team was well reviewed on Homestars and so asked to meet with him. It was a pleasure discussing our needs with him. We had a whole house to paint (trims, ceilings, doors). We also had a tight schedule but Kris fit us in his busy schedule and his team obviously worked really hard to meet our timelines. He offered very good suggestions and was very patient with us as we decided on paint colours, going out of his way to paint small sections in different areas of the house so that we could make our decision. In the end we were totally blown away at how beautifully transformed our house was after the repaint. I have absolutely no reservation in recommending Kris's Painting and was very happy with his team's work.

Highly recommend Kris for plaster work and/or painting. We had a room that needed to be completely skimmed (and painted) as the plaster boards and cracks were showing through. He did a fantastic job, looks amazing. People keep commenting on how good the room looks. He’s very knowledgeable about his craft. 5 stars.

Kris and Jason were very professional. They did my entire living room and dining room in 1 day, and did a great job! Would highly recommend Kris's Painting
